Canning Town Station provides an interchange between the Jubilee line and DLR for onward journeys. Popular onward journeys from this station include the ExCeL Exhibition Centre, London City Airport and West End of London.
Canning Town station is an inter-modal transport interchange in east London. The station is located in zone 3. During 2011 it had an annual foot fall of 8.71 million. Canning Town is on the Jubilee line and it takes only several minutes to get to the O2 Dome, Canary Wharf and Green Park. It also has a DLR station which makes it easier to reach City Airport, Bank and Tower Hill. Canning Town Station is situated in the east of London. It is positioned on the north side of the River Thames. The station neighbours many of the Dockland developments. Newham Council (the Borough to which Canning Town belongs) are planning a major regeneration project in the area.
